Journal speed data for publishers, author services and libraries

Journal Clock measures how long 4,252 journals take to accept and publish articles, from the dates publishers deposit with PubMed — with the sample size behind every figure, published exclusion rules and a coverage check for every journal and year. In a check of 200 randomly selected articles against the publisher's own dates, 100.0% matched exactly (153 of 153 that could be read). Organisations can get the same measured data as a report, a feed or a campus tool.

Neutrality

No journal or publisher can pay to change, remove or improve its figures. Organisations may buy reports about their own journal; the public numbers stay the same for everyone.
